Vivian Lee with the Yancie Taylor Quintet -Geoffrey's 410 14th Street in Oakland 6-10pm/ $15 cover/$15 soul food buffet (if you'd like some great food) Geoffrey's is a long time staple of the Oakland music scene. Set right in the center of downtown Oakland, it has a nice old world club feel to it, complete with an old elevator with an operator.  Nice.  I am honored to share the stage with these amazing musicians and appreciate Yancie inviting me to come down and play with them.  I hope you'll make plans to join us as well. My sets are from 6-8pm and directly after there is a jam session.  Lots of talented vocalists come out as well as seasoned and student musicians.  A great place to see, hear and meet some of the upcoming bay area players.
